In mid-March 2020, with increasing news and information about Covid-19, it became clear that continuing tours of Cody Caves were uncertain for the health and safety of park visitors and its staff. The park operator cancelled all operations from early March.
Re-opening will take a combined effort from park staff and park visitors using hygiene and running clean tours. To do this right, we need to ask for the public’s help and understanding while we modify the park’s operations.
With the safety of park visitors and staff as our first priority, a gradual reopening of park services has been planned to occur in phases, with the support of BC Parks.
ALL park visitors MUST abide by the Cave Park Covid-19 Protocols:
FOR ALL PARK VISITORS
BE SELF-SUFFICIENT – bring your own hand sanitizer and personal face mask
Do not enter the park if you feel ill or have any symptoms such as fever, coughs, sneezing or headache.
Sanitize hands frequently, especially before and after using park facilities.
Please follow all instructions on signage or from guides and other park staff.
On booking a cave tour you agree to joining other participants (up to max. 8) unless a pre-arranged private tour booking is made.
